Sampaloc Tree

- Believed to be as ancient as Acacia trees, about 120 years old.
- Listed as a vintage natural landmark and a “living witness” by the National Historical Institute.

Mt. Samat National Shrine or “Dambana ng Kagitingan”

Top of Mt. Samat in Diwa, Pilar, Bataan

- It was built to honor and remember the gallantry of Filipino and American soldiers who fought during WW II.
- Serves as the permanent venue for the annual April 9 celebration of the “Araw ng Kagitingan.”
