Gulayan sa Paaralan is a project implemented in every school. For Liyang Elem. School, parents and pupils play a vital role in the preparation of this project. Parents made a “Bayanihan” preparation for the garden to be planted with different kinds of vegetables. The pupils then, where obliged to bring seeds to be planted in the garden.
The school garden shall serve as food basket or main source of commodities to sustain supplementary feeding. This school garden is spearheded by the EPP teacher, Mr. Lorenzo B. Pascua under the leadership of Mrs. Benilda A. Atienza .
