There is a number of persons with disability at the Municipality of Pilar whom our beloved Mayor Alicia D. Pizarro puts worth to and she would not let be left behind. With the coordination of Mrs. Maricel Clavel from the Municipal Social Welfare Development, we were able to help eight beneficiaries.

The wheelchairs, crutches, and walkers, were given by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Bataan Region through Sister Lya A. Lucila, Welfare Service Ministry servant. Sis. Lucila shared that the ministry is willing to give the walking devices like wheelchair, crutches, walkers, and canes to beneficiaries aged 5 to 59. The senior citizen can also avail of the devices except the wheelchair. She mentioned to coordinate with Mrs. Clavel, being the only WHO (World Health Organization) licensed wheelchair assessor in the municipality.
By December, seven more beneficiaries with Cerebral Palsy from our municipality will receive special wheelchairs.
