Naguit, MHO, Ms. Jennie Lee Casin, Social Welfare Assistant, and SPO1 Gilda Candido supported the feeding program in Diwa Elementary School initiated by Diwa  Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) headed by PB Emmanuelito Jaraba.

Diwa is the Most Child-Friendly Barangay Awardee of Pilar. With this, continuous programs to protect and help children have been initiated in the barangay. Nineteen (19) under nourished school children from various grade levels benefitted from the feeding program. Mr. Leo B. Domingo, the dynamic school head, with his diligent teaching force, were present along with the PTA of the school and the Baranggay Council.

Mr. Hamilton Cruz, the adviser of the Supreme Student Government of Don Pablo Roman Memorial High School, and his two students, Rodrigo A. Velasco, Jr, SSG President, and Nhicolaia P. Capatayan, SSG Vice-President, also members of MCPC, were  present during the event. They solicited funds to buy notebooks, pencils, and sharpeners that were given also to the pupils of the said school.

The children were all happy that the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children is always ready with programs and projects that are meant to provide them a loving, and nurturing environment. Hon. Pizarro, the children and their parents were all delighted with the results of the feeding program and distribution of school supplies project of Diwa BCPC and SSG of Pablo Roman National Highschool.
