Municipality of Pilar’s Outreach Program for the Protection of Children This Year, Kicked-off at Sito Maisan
The Municipal Council for the Protection of Children will be conducting a series of Outreach Program for the Protection of Children thru an orientation and feeding program to different sitios and barangays in Pilar. The program will be spearheaded by the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children thru the dynamic leadership of Mayor Alicia D. Pizarro.
The program aims to re-orient parents about good parenting and protecting their children in right ways. The children will be provided with healthy snacks as well.
MCPC members will also be discussing about RA 7610 (Special Protection for Children), RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act of 2002), PD 1602 (Illegal Gambling), Resolution on Solid Waste Management and Tobacco Control Program, as well as some updates on education.

September 12, 2015 Sitio Laing, Bgy. Del Rosario
September 26, 2015 Sitio Kaluluwa, Bgy. Poblacion
The program kicked off last June 20, 2015 at Sitio Maisan, Bgy. Sta. Rosa, Pilar, Bataan. Many leaders of the municipality graced the event. First and foremost is our beloved and supportive Mayor Alice D. Pizarro. Mayor Pizarro discussed about Four(4) Rights of Children and Solid Waste Management.
SPO2 Gilda Candido (WCPD-Pilar MPS) talked about RA 7610 while Dr. Jeolfa Reyes conferred on Updates and Importance of Education. Mr. Ace Vicedo discussed about the Tobacco Control Program – The Ill Effects of Smoking and Corresponding Penalties for Violation of Municipal Ordinance No. 100, s.2014 and PO3 Elvin Mar Bunio talked about RA 9165 and PD 1602.
Also present were Kap. Joey De Leon (Santa Rosa), ABC Miguel Solomon, Coun. Jojo Tallorin , Coun. Fatima Elisa Enriquez (Member, MCPC), Mr. Solomon Sinson (PESO Coordinator), Ms. Maricel Clavel (MSWD/DC Focal Person), and Don Pablo Roman National High School Supreme Government members headed by Mr. Hamilton Cruz who are also members of MCPC.
Ms. Pamela Buensoceso (MNAO, PPO Officer) acted as emcee and the focal person for the said program is the diligent Ms. Jenny Lee R. Casin of the MSWD.
