This is in accordance with the Manila Bay Clean-up, Rehabilitation, and Preservation Project (MBCRRP). She pointed out that it is important that Pilar will not be part of the continuous destruction of the scenic bay because of waste dumping in the area.

She narrated that she became aware of the effective solid waste management practices in the two areas during the Manila Bay rehab program forum of their town’s officials conducted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Bataan.

She pointed out that, “The municipality of Pilar is in full support to the Manila Bay rehabilitation program in the province being spearheaded by the DENR Bataan”.
