“Eat’s Friday: Gastro Party” last October 7, 2016 was the night where different food establishments within Pilar came together and served their specialties for an affordable ticket price of P150. The food establishments that participated were Chef’s Le, Chocolate de Batirol, Diner St. Cafe, Espada Grill, Ima Pamangan, Maria’s White Coco, and Marres Kitchen.
Vice Mayor Marino Caguimbal welcomed everyone to the event by saying that, “talagang kaaya- aya at masarap ang mga gawa ng mga Pilarian, kaya sana po ay ating supportahan”. As the people were lining up for the food, there was a live band performance by Notepad Band, that entertained the guests. Mr. Ace Espinosa also delighted the audience with his solo performance that serenaded them as they continue on enjoying the numerous sumptuous meals.
The event was not only filled with good food, but good music as well. The organizers prepared games wherein winners received gift certificates from the participating food establishments. There was also a raffle for those who have tickets.
Mayor Alice Pizarro thanked everyone who were present during the event and extended her gratitude for their participation and support to the events prior to fiesta celebration. “Sa susunod mas dadami pa ang ating makakasama para mas mabusog po tayong lahat”, said Mayor Alice.
Also present during the event were Hon. Gerry Sanchez, Hon. Aurea Iguico, Hon. Cecilia Garcia, and Hon. Cipriano Paguio.
