As part of the municipality’s effort of helping every Pilarian, last April 21, 2017, the Job Fair took place at the Municipal Covered Court. This event was spearheaded by Mayor Alice Pizarro and PESO Pilar Coordinator, Mr. Solomon Sinson. There were seven (7) companies that participated for those interested in working abroad and eighteen (18) for the local hiring.
The Job Fair began with the registration of a total of 386 participants. Mayor Alice Pizarro graced the event by thanking everyone who participated and also mentioned the importance of the opportunity given to them.
According to Mr. Sinson, the Job Fair was a successful event with 73 particpants hired on the spot for the local hiring and 181 that were qualified for employment abroad.
