High School Students Plant Trees Along Main Road

PILAR, Bataan – About 70 students of Pablo Roman National High School together with volunteers in this town planted more than 500 tree seedlings along the Joaquin Linao Road in this town on Friday, said Araling Panlipunan (AP) teacher and Club Adviser John Dean Regondola.


The planting activity was spearheaded by the School’s Supreme Student Government (SSG) and AP Club, headed by its president Christian Pastelero and Mr. Hamilton Cruz, adviser of the student government, in coordination with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office and Community Environment and Natural Resources Office.

Pilar lady Mayor Alice Pizarro and Punong Barangay of Alauli Rodrigo Lulu fully supported the tree-planting project.
Regondola said the activity is also in compliance with the National Greening and Plant a Billion Tree Programs of the national government.
