In our very proactive Mayor Alicia D. Pizarro’s campaigns against violence, protection of children, and a smoke-free Pilar, she has given recognition and appreciation for all the baranggays for their active participation on all theses campaigns. During her recent SOMA held at the front of the Municipality of Pilar building last December 15, 2014, the awarding for the Most Functional BCPC, Most Functional Baranggay VAW Desk, Most Accomplished MIAICVAWC, as well as the awarding for Poster and Slogan Making Contest for the Smoke-Free Campaign was held.
Every baranggay was spectating of the results as each one has actively given its best to implement functionalism, fight against violence, and continuous promotion of a smoke-free baranggay. Each one was given Certificate of Recognition. The winners were given a Plaque of Recognition and cash prizes of P10,000, P7,000, and P5,000 respectively for each category.
For the Most Functional BCPC, awards were given by Mayor Alicia D. Pizarro, Dr. Cherrielyne E. Naguit, MHO, OIC-MSWDO, and Mr. Bernardino P. Santiago, MLGOO. The winners are as follows:
First Place - Diwa
Second Place - Wawa
Third Place - Pantingan
For the Most Functional VAW Desk, awards were given by Mayor Pizarro, Dr. Naguit, Mr. Santiago, and SPO2 Gilda R. Candido. The winners are as follows:
First Place - Diwa
Second Place - Sta. Rosa
Third Place - Balut II
Also, Hon. Albert S. Garcia, Governor of Bataan, and Ms. Lourdes Levera, the President of BTFVAWCI awarded the Most Accomplished MIAICVAWC to our municipality.
The students from the different public and private elementary and secondary schools that participated in the Poster and Slogan Making Contest for the Smoke-Free Campaign were also given awards. The winners are the participating contestants from the following schools:
Elementary Level:
First Place - Liyang Elementary School
Second Place - Wakas Elementary School
Third Place - Pantingan Elementary School
Secondary Level:
First Place - Pablo Roman National High School
Second Place - Pablo Roman National High School
Third Place - Doňa Victoria Memorial High School
Each one was delighted to receive his award which has truly added to the already festive mood of the SOMA and lighting of the Christmas decorations of the municipality building.
