The Provincial Nutrition Council held a Municipal Nutrition Evaluation with DILG-PIlar and all departments of the Municipality of Pilar last April 30, 2015. The nutrition evaluation is to check the status of Pilar in terms of nutrition.
As to efficiency, the municipality got an almost perfect score with 2.5. As to effectiveness, the municipality still lack although the Nutrition Council still commended it for the efforts in ensuring good nutritional status of the townsfolk.
Our beloved mayor Alicia D. Pizarro is the chairman of the Municipal Nutrition Council and assisted by her Vice Chairman, SB member Edgar Lulu. The three (3) baranggays that were simultaneously evaluated were Diwa, Panilao, and Balut II. The score attained was 97% out of 100.
Municipal Nutrition Action Officer Ramela Buensuceso coordinated the evaluation. Final score or ranking for the said evaluation is expected to be released in July of this year.
