Entrepreneur Training Program: Opening Doors for Entrepreneurship Among Pilarians

Pilar, Bataan – The SMAW graduates of the TESDA Program in the Municipality of Pilar who will proceed to NC2 underwent an Entrepreneurship Training Program last June 8 and 9, 2016. The two days training aims to help these graduates to be equipped with the right entrepreneurial skills they can use in their future businesses or work. The program is designed to help in instilling proper mind set of individuals to think like businessmen do for a more successful future.

The training was conducted by TESDA with its trainer, Ms. Lizzeth A. Robles, trainer from Philippine Women’s University-CDCEC and Tomas del Rosario Academy. Ms. Rebecca A. Santos, Supervising TESDA Specialist, and Mr. Noli Bautista, OIC of TESDA Mariveles were also present to facilitate the training.

During the graduation, our dynamic and capable Mayor Alicia D. Pizarro congratulated the graduates of the entrepreneurship program. She also congratulated them for finishing their SMAW Training which started last April 18 to June 7, 2016 and for passing the NC1. There were 32 NC1 passers in Welding held in Pilar on June 4, 2016 with Mr. Allan Labonete as TESDA Assessor conducting the test. Mayor Alice inspired them to use what they have learned during their training and to apply what they have learned from the Entrepreneurship Training Program as well in their careers and businesses.

Mr. Solomon Sinson, PESO Coordinator thanked and congratulated the graduates for persevering to finish the training. He hoped that they will be more equipped with the learnings they got and to use them for their success.
